Meikarta.jpgIndonesian property developer Lippo Group and agency Handoko Advertising recently tapped Seven Sunday Films to produce a high-end brand film that spotlights the company’s expanding presence in the country.

Directed by Sam Bennetts, the film begins with a drive through some less desirable neighbourhood streets, where a young girl witnesses the traffic, pollution and crowded city avenues that ensure crime reigns free. She is then driven to the pristine, modern and very technology-focussed safe city complex of Meikarta, where she can play free without fear of any danger.

A truly global team of talent were put to work on the brand film, that saw Bennetts collaborate with Australian DOP Jason Hargreaves (based in Los Angeles), British editor Adam Hussey, American post house Prana Studios (based in Mumbai) and audio company Nylon Studios, through its offices in Sydney and New York.

Seven Sunday Films executive producer Rodney Vincent said, “This was a very challenging project, as the expectations were very high, yet the timing was super tight. We basically had to finish the TVC in record time to meet deadlines. We put together a four-week pre-production calendar in less than two weeks, and it was quite a miracle to pull off all of the locations and permits in that given time. A big congrats to the entire team for seeing this project through.”
