11 finalists for Asia in Cannes Mobile Lions: 5 shortlists for Cheil Worldwide South Korea

Look at me_logo2_mom_son.jpgSeven agencies from Asia have been shortlisted in The Cannes Lions Mobile category following the release of the shortlist today.

Asia's most successful agency is Cheil Worldwide South Korea, who has a creditable 5 of Asia's total of 11 shortlists. Cheil's "Look at Me" mobile campaign for Samsung has been shortlisted 3 times and "South Korean North Korean Translator" for Dream Touch for All is shortlisted twice.
A total of 109 entries were shortlisted in the category which attracted 1246 entries from around the world. Also shortlisted from Asia was:

Leo Burnett Hong Kong for Gigo Free-Niture.
Grey Group Singapore for British Council "Visual Dictionary".
Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong for Maxis "Smart Sentry".
Korean Telecom for KT "The Life Saving TV Project".
Party Tokyo for Sakyo Planning "Haruhi Hunting".
DDB Singapore for Starhub "4G4Good".
