Bang Bang Films and Believe Media tie up

Believe@Bang Bang.jpgBang Bang Films, India’s international production company and Believe Media of Los Angeles (with offices in New York and London), have entered into a partnership to form Believe@Bang Bang. Believe Media was listed amongst the top production companies globally by Creativity in 2009 and Bang Bang Films is #2 on AllWorld Network’s Top 25 fastest growing companies, across all sectors, in India in 2010.

Bang Bang Films has a strong network within Asia Pacific and the Middle East and Believe Media can claim this for North America and Europe.  By entering into this agreement with Bang Bang Films, Believe Media gets an on ground partner in Asia where Bang Bang Films already enjoys enviable equity, apart from having a highly competent production team and Bang Bang gains access to a world-class roster.

Bang Bang now has access to Believe Media’s world-class roster of directors that features names like Zack Snyder (of 300 and Watchmen fame) and A-listers of the advertising world like Bruno Aveillan, Chris Applebaum, Gerard de Thame, Andy Morahan and several others.  The two companies also happen to have in common young, up & comer, Puneet Rakheja represented worldwide by Believe and in India by Bang Bang.

The two companies are situated in two of the world’s film production centers.  Los Angeles and Mumbai are the homes of Hollywood and Bollywood respectively, allowing Believe and Bang Bang to take advantage of the robust ecosystems and vibrant film traditions that exist in their home bases, giving them access to a plethora of talent, equipment and crews on both sides of the globe.

The first Believe@Bang Bang spot, part of a Tata Motors launch campaign, was shot in South Africa for Ogilvy Mumbai with director, Gerard de Thame in October and should hit airwaves later this month.
