Shanghai Dentsu hires Zheng Li and KC as ECDs

KC and Zheng Li.jpgShanghai Dentsu has appointed two new executive creative directors – Zheng Li and KC. They will both report to CCO Kazuki Tsuburaku, the runner-up of Campaign greater china creative person of the year 2017, and manage the creative team of Shanghai Dentsu to enhance its creative capacity in the new digital era to achieve Beijing Dentsu’s goal of “Providing clients with Data-driven IMC services”.

Zheng Li (pictured right) is a renowned Chinese creative with more than 20 years’ experience in the advertising industry and creates many successful communication campaigns for local and international brands. Before coming to Shanghai Dentsu, he had served in international advertising agencies such as Ogilvy, Publicis, HAVAS and DDB. He also created the record of being the youngest local creative director and the youngest creative partner in the international 4A agencies. His insight for Chinese consumers is highly regarded by clients.

KC (pictured left) is a strategic and all-rounded creative from Dentsu Malaysia. He had also served at FCB and JWT Malaysia and won multiple international awards including Cannes, One Show, Spikes, Adfest, Kancil awards and Effie Malaysia. KC is very excited about joining Shanghai Dentsu. “The most competitive market is the best battleground for creatives,” he said.
