Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards announces 2017 creative executive jury led by Kentaro Kimura

Kentaro Kimura PHOTO.jpgThe Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards has announced the members of its Creative Executive Jury for 2017, led by Kentaro Kimura, Co-Chief Executive Officer and Executive Creative Director of Hakuhodo Kettle Tokyo, as Jury President. The jury members are as follows:

Thierry Halbroth, Managing Partner and Executive Creative Director, Publicis Hong Kong

Teeny Gonzales, CEO & Executive Creative Director, Seven AD, Philippines

Dominic Stallard, Chief Creative Officer, Saatchi Singapore

The Creative Executive jury evaluates entries under the following categories: best of country, best of Southeast Asia, creative effectiveness, design for good, innovation for good, startup for good, insights and strategic thinking, public relations, regional brand development and sustainable campaign.

Commenting on the award Borgstrom said, “Advertising is a powerful weapon, used well it can have a real impact in the world, it can change peoples minds and behaviours. Let’s make sure we point it in the right direction.”

Michael Knox on the other hand opines that, “Acknowledging the brands who use their powers for good while also achieving great commercial success is an important function of the APAC Tambuli Awards. It’s like the perfect combination. It’s equally inspiring to spend time with such a great list of people, working through the entries and finding the biggest ideas that worked the hardest.”

The pioneer in award shows globally to celebrate effective advertising for good, the APAC Tambuli Awards honors brands that do good and do well – showing the seamless integration of creativity + human good + results. Case study entries must demonstrate how brands uplift society, create positive change, and correlate purpose with purchase.

The APAC Tambuli Awards is not an award on charity, advocacy, pro bono, or CSR advertising, even if those campaigns are welcome and encouraged to enter. The award, however, focuses on mainstream brand campaigns that celebrate humanity, inspire purpose, and deliver results.
