Havas Logo.jpgNutricia, the specialised healthcare division of food company Danone, has appointed Havas Jakarta to handle the integrated creative account of its two brands, Nutrilon and Bebelac in Indonesia. Havas bagged the accounts following two separate competitive pitches for each brand.

The appointment sees a further expansion of Havas’ duties on the business from media planning and buying, which Havas Media Indonesia has been leading for the two brands for the last few years.

Nutrilon and Bebelac provide specialized nutritional supplement formulations that are designed to promote a healthy and balanced nutrition for mothers and children from pregnancy to the age of six.

Havas will work closely together with sister agencies BETC (Paris) and Havas Media to execute a fully integrated communications program for both brands, spanning both above-the-line and below-the-line activities.

“With the increasing clutter of media channels and social chatter, we have come to the conclusion that the appointment of a single integrated communications partner will offer significant advantages over that of a group of specialized agencies,” said Danish Rahman, Marketing Director, Danone Nutricia. “We aim to be more agile, synergized and focused in our communications effort for Nutrilon and Bebelac, and we hope to achieve all that through working closely with Havas.”

“We have been working very hard with a fairly new team on these pitches and I am really proud we have proven ourselves in this double test. The wins speak volumes of our expertise and we are extremely honoured that Danone has placed its trust and confidence in us,” said Roy Sagala, Executive Creative Director of Havas Jakarta.
