Lowe Shanghai, Lowe Vietnam, Y&R Beijing and Grey Mumbai land Gold in Cannes Press Lions

Buick Speed Limit.jpgBuick NO LEFT TURN.jpgThere were a total of 95 Lion winners in the Cannes Press category this year with Asia collecting 14 awards.

4 Gold Lions, 4 Silver Lions and 6 Bronze Lions were won by Asia. Gold Lions went to Lowe Shanghai, Lowe Vietnam, Y&R Beijing and Grey Mumbai.

Heading the country tally was China with 2 Gold Lions, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze. Lowe Shanghai were awarded Gold and Bronze for their press campaign for Buick.

Y&R Beijing collected Gold for the Penguin Audio Books campaign. It also won a Bronze Lion.

Lowe Vietnam picked up a Gold for a Unilever Omo campaign “Joystick Vs Football”, “Tablet Vs Tree”, “Mobile Vs Sand” (see links for high res files).

Grey Worldwide Mumbai picked up their Gold for Duracell Batteries (shown below).

BBDO Proximity was the only Singapore agency to make the grade collecting 3 Silver Lions for their Guinness campaign for Asia Pacific Breweries. The campaign is already a Gold and Silver Lion winner in the Outdoor Lions.

Grey Group China won a Silver for their campaign for Neuro-PS “Kindergarten” and “Primary School”.

Individual Bronze winners were:

JWT India for the Godrej Security Solutions campaign.

TBWA/Kuala Lumpur for the Papermate Liquid Paper series of three ads.

Ogilvy & Mather Bangkok for Accident Prevention Network “A, B, P”.

Lowe Philippines for SM Eco Bags “Plastic” campaign.

The Grand Prix winner in the Press Lions was Adam&EveDDB London for their “Christmas” campaign for Harvey Nichols.
