Top spot: NZTA launches shocking ‘Mistakes’ spot via Clemenger BBDO, Wellington

Today’s top spot is a great road safety message out of New Zealand.
No one should pay for a mistake with their life, as demonstrated in the latest dramatic spot for NZTA via Clemenger BBDO, Wellington.
The idea: When we drive, we share the road with others, so the speed we choose to travel at needs to leave room for any potential error. The spot was directed by Derin Seale via Finch with special effects created by Fin Design + Effects.

wow. just wow. maybe it’s the dad in me, but that hit home more than any road safety ad i’ve seen before. hat’s off to all involved.
There have been a lot of good road safety ads. This one is right up there with the best of them. Well done to all concerned. Powerful, simple, and just bloody marvelous.
I did not see what makes this so amazing. The dialogue between the two men was rather contrived and uncomfortable. A forgettable ad.
