Directory Big Won 2013 Rankings: Dentsu Tokyo, Cheil Seoul + DDB Singapore in top 20 agencies: Singapore No.10 country in the world

Bridge of Life.jpgRankings from the 2013 Directory Big Won have been released, which look at agency performance across all marketing communication platforms.

Agencies to reach the top 20 for creativity from the region are Dentsu Tokyo at #11, Cheil Seoul placed at #15 and DDB Singapore at 19.

Singapore featured at number 10 of the top ten countries for creativity with 1139 votes. With Australia ranked at #2 in the world and New Zealand at #9, Singapore at #10, Japan at 12, China at 14 and Thailand at 19, the Asia-Pacific region has claims to being more of a creative hub than Europe with six countries in the Top 20 or the Americas, which have four. 

coke hands.jpgAustralia has performed brilliantly, ranked number 2 in the world with 3316 points, close behind the USA on 3869 points and ahead of the UK on 2412 points, Brazil on 2236 points and Germany on 1633 points.

TOP CAMPAIGNS:

Cheil Worldwide’s Bridge of Life for Samsung (left) came in at #5 in the top campaigns across all media channels and #4 in top campaigns direct. JWT Mumbai was #6 for Nike Cricket in top campaigns for TV, Film & Video.

TOP POSTERS & OUTDOOR:

In Top Posters & Outdoor for 2013 Ogilvy Shanghai came in at #2 with Cokehands followed by Ogilvy Gurgaon, India at #3 with Forest/Gorge for Philips LED Torches.

TOP PRESS:

There were four agencies from the region with top press advertising – Publicis Singapore for Crisis Relief (#2) , Lowe Bangkok for Unilever Sunlight camapign (#6), Taproot Mumbai for The Times of India’s Farmer’s Suicides (#7) and Ogilvy Shanghai for Cokehands (#8).
