The Embassy in Jakarta has been very active in promoting bi-lateral exchanges between the two countries to foster and build upon India and Indonesia’s long friendship.

Working closely with the Indian Embassy’s Jawaharlal Nehru Indian Cultural Centre (JNICC), The Thinking Machine has been given the mandate to design the brand identity and other communications related to the celebration of ‘100 Years of Indian Cinema’ in Indonesia. The agency has also developed a film showcasing the outreach activities of the Indian Embassy in the country.

According to His Excellency Mr. Gurjit Singh, Indian Ambassador to Indonesia, ASEAN & Timor Leste, “India and Indonesia have close cultural ties dating back to ancient times. To ensure this continued kinship even today, we endeavor to constantly create exciting experiences and activities that showcases India to the people in Indonesia. We are currently promoting the celebration of ‘100 years of Indian Cinema’ here.”

Mr. Singh continues, “The Thinking Machine knows and understands India, so I’m happy that they are helping us in ideating, designing and branding of our initiatives and events in Indonesia. I wish them continued success.”

“Having been handed the mantle to partner the Indian Embassy’s initiatives in Indonesia is a matter of huge pride for us at The Thinking Machine.” says Rajiv R. Menon, Chief Creative Officer. “We’re designing some truly cheerful work to celebrate 100 years of Indian Cinema in Indonesia here.”
