Volkswagen China Blue Mobility wins MOTD

Think Blue.jpgTribal DDB Beijing, in collaboration with T+D (Trommsdorff + Druner) has won the FWA Mobile of The Day (MOTD) Award for Volkswagen China's Blue Mobility In-Car Mobile App, the first eco-driving App in China on 12 June 2012.

The FWA is an industry recognized award program, established in 2000, showcasing projects that use cutting edge technology, together with inspirational ideas, that lead the way for future generations.
Tim Cheng, Executive Creative Director of Tribal DDB Beijing said, "Winning the MOTD from the FWA is an honor on a world stage. We are especially proud to have the first ever in-car mobile app that shows the people of China how to drive eco-friendly in a fun way. A true testament of creativity meeting technology to drive one of Volkswagen China's most important mission in China, to "Think Blue."

Oliver Wolter, Senior Manager Digital Marketing of Volkswagen China added, "Using the innovative app, one can track the driving distance, speed, acceleration and deceleration during a car trip and get results analyzed real time against an eco-score to get more people to "Think Blue". Driving more car owners to save energy and be more eco-friendly and efficient in making a difference every day.  Especially in China where there are over 100 million vehicles on the road."
