Top 100 things I’ve been up to in Cannes, narrowed down to 17.

17.    Considering having someone back in the office write my next one of these.

16.    Meeting a Frenchman in a bar who reckoned he was the Rainbowwarrior bomber, Dominique Prieur. Terrorism. Always good for a laugh.

15.    Trying to eat cereal in my room without a spoon.

14.    Checking my iphone for spoon apps.

13.    Realising there’s no such thing as a spoon app.

12.    Watching water go down the plug the wrong way.

11.    Noticing how amazing the French women are here, especially the old ones.

10.     Switching on the football with 10 minutes to go against Italy and not fainting.

9.    Hearing that the Flight of the Conchords are huge in Belgium.

8.    Sending in a Tweet about myself to the Festival, which will only ever appear in a book.

7.    Hoping that Grant Rutherford from DDB’s radio diary is more insightful than this one.

6.    Learning that charity ads can’t win Grand Prix. There’s a GrandPrix for Good category, which all charity works gets put into.

5.    Angling to meet Spike Jonze.

4.    Finalising the Radio short list for Cannes 2010.

3.    Thinking that Aussie and NZ should go good.

2.    Being told by our Jury President that when people ask aboutresults before the night, to say; ‘Can you keep a secret? Yes? Cool,because I can too.’
