Victor Ng.jpgChief Creative Officer for Euro RSCG Singapore & Southeast Asia Victor Ng has resigned after two years at the agencyʼs creative helm. He will be taking a break to pursue other creative interests.

“My decision to leave Euro RSCG was a tough one, but I leave with a deep sense of satisfaction and pride. In two years weʼve become relevant, recognized and ranked — not just creatively, but as a bona-fide Agency of the Year. Our SEA offices have taken huge steps forward and Iʼm sure Euro will continue to be successful with its strong leadership. Iʼm going to take some time away and open myself to new creative pursuits and a new beginning. Sometimes you have to step out of the picture to see the bigger picture,” Ng said.

He added, “As I take stock of my journey, Iʼm excited about the road ahead. There have been many highs and lows, people and places that Iʼm truly grateful for.”

Ng joined Euro RSCG Singapore and was promoted to Executive Creative Director in 2008. Following a series of creative and new business success, his role expanded to CCO of Singapore and Southeast Asia last year. In the two years under his creative leadership, the previously unranked agency soared up the standings to be a top-2 Singapore agency in MEDIA Creative Rankings. It was also named Agency of the Year in Southeast Asia by MEDIA.

Success at major international award shows include: Singaporeʼs most awarded agency at Asia-Pacific Adfest; double Gold awards in digital and print categories at Spikes Asia; wins at Cannes, Clio, Communication Arts, AWARD, London International, New York Festival, Montreux and Cresta. Over the same period, the agency won new business accounts such as DBS Bank, NTUC FairPrice, Carlsberg, Singapore Post, Fraser & Neave, Orange, Abbott and Heaven & Earth.

Victor was invited to judge Cannes, Clio and Spikes Asia last year. He was invited to judge D&AD, Asia-Pacific Adfest and New York Festival this year. Last year he was nominated for Asia Creative Of The Year (MEDIA), Creative Director Of The Year (Singapore Hall Of Fame) and Most Influential Creative Director (Institute Of Advertising Singapore).
