Kodak appoints Ingrid Goodyear to run motion picture business in the Asia Pacific region

Ingrid Goodyear_sml.jpgIngrid Goodyear is to take up the role of General Manager of Kodak’s motion picture business in the company’s Asia Pacific Region (APR) and Vice President Entertainment Imaging. Goodyear will be responsible for the full oversight of the Region’s business within 15 key countries, including Australia, Japan, Korea, India and China. She will transition from her previous role as General Manager of the division’s Image Capture business, where she oversaw the design and marketing of Kodak’s full line of motion picture camera negative products. In her new position, Goodyear will retain her responsibilities for Worldwide Marketing.

“Given her broad experiences in operations, finance, sales and marketing, Ingrid brings a real depth to this role,” said Kim Snyder, President Entertainment Imaging and Vice President Eastman Kodak Company. “I am very pleased to have such a proven, successful leader appointed to this key position.”

Goodyear will assume this responsibility on December 14th upon theretirement of her predecessor Greg McKibbin who joined Kodak 45 yearsago and has dedicated his distinguished Kodak career to sales andgeneral management roles around the world in both the motion pictureand graphics businesses.

Goodyear began her career at Kodak in 1989 as a finance graduatetrainee. In 1995 she moved into the Entertainment Imaging Division asthe Director of Finance and Operations for the Asia Pacific Region andhas held various positions within the division since that time. In1999, Goodyear was appointed Director of Business Development and in2001, she was moved to Shanghai as General Manager of the Greater ChinaRegion. She returned to Australia in 2003 as the Director of Marketingand Operations, APR. In 2008 Goodyear was appointed to the role ofWorldwide General Manager of Image Capture and Vice President ofEntertainment Imaging, with the additional responsibility for WorldwideMarketing added in February 2009. Goodyear graduated from the PhilipInstitute of Technology with a business degree majoring in accounting.A native Australian, she will be managing the Region from itsMelbourne, Australia headquarters
