Frankly, nothing bold or stylish about it. Atrocious english super at the end (translated for awards?) Looks like a ‘making of’ video featuring a bunch of twats who think they’re doing something meaningful which theyre really not…..nothing to do with the car sadly.
The original tvc from the UK was rather terrible too, featuring a Fiesta driving through a manufactured neon cityscape…this is just a rehash of that.
I thought Ford Fiesta was a regular sized car…this idea makes it look like a mini.
sigh. do we ever do anything here besides slagging work that’s not ours? apart from describing the obvious, what are you bringing to the table? can you offer something better to win the business? is every single piece of work you do mindblowingly original?
I’d bet that you, dear anonymous at 11:50, do 90% of your work at the same level of dullness or unoriginality – like the majority of us poor sods. but that’s the nature of the job isn’t it? vast stretches of absolute mind numbing dullness, with occasional bursts of brilliance. so let’s just live for the good bits, shall we?
And just to leave you with a parting thought 6.46pm….
We all do dubious work, there’s just no need to advertise the fact on a public forum.
Even top agencies like Goodby etc have to do lots of workman-like ads but somehow the ones you see on the blogs are just the really hot ones. You might say they’re a bit more selective about what they showcase.
Relax 6.46….look at Tarantino. The only good film hes ever made is Pulp Fiction…the rest….even his latest…are all crap.
