Asia has 77 shortlists in Cannes Press Lions

China and Singapore are the dominant Asian countries at the Shortlist stage of the Press Lions judging. China has 20 finalists followed by Singapore with 18. Next best country is Thailand with 11, followed by India (10), Indonesia (7), Malaysia (6), Hong Kong (3) and The Philippines (2).
Lions are handed out in the Press category on Wednesday night in Cannes.
