Thierry Halbroth, Iñaki Amate and Dwayne Serjeant join in creative roles at EY Asia-Pacific

Thierry Halbroth_2018.jpgFormer Publicis Hong Kong Executive Creative Director and Managing Partner Thierry Halbroth has joined EY in Hong Kong. EY is part of the Ernst & Young global group.

Halbroth (pictured left) is one of three new EY creative appointments with Iñaki Amate and Dwayne Serjeant also joining in Hong Kong to drive design and creative thinking in new modes of working across the businesses. All three are tasked to transform business operations and help evolve the EY offerings around innovation and creativity in the traditional advisory, tax, or assurance services.
 
Halbroth leads creative ideation and thinking across EY Asia-Pacific, supporting the use of design to develop purposeful solutions at the wavespace center for clients.
In his previous role, he was the Executive Creative Director and Managing Partner of Publicis Hong Kong. Halbroth regularly supports the industry through international jury duties and has contributed to the development of the HK4As as Chairman of the Digital and Interactive Committee, as well as Chairman of the Creative Committee for several years running. He is also a guest lecturer at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Inaki Amate_2018.jpgAmate (pictured right) is a partner and leads the Design services across EY Asia-Pacific and Digital across EY Greater China. He helped build design and innovation teams as well as contributed to the concept formulation and design of the Hong Kong wavespace center.
 
Over the past 14 years, Amate led and established the global design and innovation consultancy, Fjord and advocates the nurturing future talent by lecturing at the Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences for more than 11 years. He is also active in contributing to the Hong Kong business community as the Vice Chairperson of the Board of Hong Kong's Finnish Chamber of Commerce.
 
As Executive Director of Experience Design, Serjeant works as part of the growing design capabilities within EY and leads the EY wavespace center in Hong Kong. He has more than 25 years' experience in the creative industry across traditional, digital and physical channels, with a keen focus on building integrated human-centered experiences.
 
Dwayne Serjeant_2018.jpgPrior to his role at EY, Serjeant (pictured right) spent over a decade with Dentsu's global digital agency Isobar. Serjeant has spoken at numerous industry events and taught courses in Experience Design at General Assembly and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

EY wavespace is a global network of innovation centers for EY teams to work together with clients to explore innovative ideas with new technologies and come up with solutions collaboratively. In Asia-Pacific, EY wavespaces are launched in Singapore and Shanghai. Both the Hong Kong and Sydney wavespaces will launch in November.
