Seven Sundays and Gudang Garam’s epic film celebrates 73 years of Indonesian Independence
Seven Sundays continues its long partnership of making momentous films with signature brand Gudang Garam, this time in a film celebrating 73 years of Indonesian Independence. Directed by Seven Sundays stalwart director Abimael Gandy, the film is an epic cultural journey into Indonesia’s past and present, celebrating the connections of culture and community. The film features stunningly crafted cultural styling, and a rich cast reflective of Indonesians diverse and unique peoples, drawn together into moments of sharing, peace and progress.
Conceived by Agency Duet, the film is homage to Indonesians progressive agenda, achieved through a sense of shared values and aspirations. The film is beautifully captured by director of photography John Alfirevich, showcasing his photographic expertise with rich landscapes coupled with intimate portrait photography. Shot over 4 days in difficult conditions are Mount Bromo, the film is a testament to the producing nous of Rachel Srisumarsih and Ajeng Vincent who produced on behalf of Seven Sundays.
