Mateusz (pictured on left) will join BBDO Singapore from Happiness Brussels and Saigon where he was Group Creative Director spending equal time between the two offices.

Prior to Happiness, Mroszczak was Executive Creative Director at Darwin BBDO in Brussels.

Richard Fraser, CEO BBDO Singapore, announced the appointment today, stating “We look forward to welcoming Mat to Singapore and back into the BBDO network. He’s a world-class creative leader with a unique ability to blend storytelling, experience and technology.”

“Mat has had tremendous creative success during his time at Happiness and Darwin BBDO, creating work that is borderless, memorable and effective. We look forward to working with him to create the same success here in Singapore,” he continued.

Nair (pictured below) took on the ECD position at BBDO Singapore under then CCO Ronald Ng in May 2014 after having been with the agency for three years.

Primus Nair.jpg“Primus has been an invaluable member of the leadership team and a key contributor to the growth of the agency during his time here. We thank him for all the years of energy, effort and dedication, and wish him all the best.” said Fraser.

Prior to Darwin BBDO, Mroszczak was Creative Director at digital hotshop, Y&R These Days, where he worked on the award-winning campaign, Coins of Hope. Mat has helped his teams win over 100 national and international awards including Golds at Cannes Lions, Eurobest, London International Awards, Clio and CCB. He has now won at Cannes 3 years in a row. He has been on the jury at several shows including the Creative Club of Belgium, Golden Drum, New York Festivals and LIA. He is the 3rd generation of Mroszczak admen; both his father and grandfather worked in the industry.

Mateusz said, “When I first met the BBDO Singapore team, I knew immediately it was going to be a great fit. The story of how they’ve been transforming the agency and their vision for what a great agency should be is inspiring. I am really excited about having the opportunity to work with the team and help to elevate The Work, The Work, The Work. We have got all the ingredients needed to do amazing work – a deep pool of young talent, strong client portfolio and a collaborative network.”
