Kitti Chaiyaporn.jpgKitti (Pom) Chaiyaporn, Founder & Creative of Mana, Bangkok, has been named chairman of judging for the local Adman Awards & Symposium 2018.

The theme for its 15th year awards is “Creativity for Sharing”, to redefine what creativity is really for. Apart from building sales or making a profit for brands, creativity can also make the world a better place by creating problem solving solutions that inspire people.

Chaiyaporn (pictured left) falls into the latter category, which is also a bigger chunk of the population in the Thai advertising industry. The award that Chaiyaporn is most proud of in his working life was when he left a large Thailand multinational agency to start a small agency, Choojai.

Choojai established determined to do both selling and socially responsible advertising. Chaiyaporn is inspired by a respected monk Luang Pi Koh (Jitt Thantasatien).

Koh once told him that the path that has not been walked down is often a difficult one. Because no one has walked down that path, it’s a new kind of work that should be done.

Today Choojai is 6 years old and continues to grow.

By the end of 2016, Chaiyaporn resigned from Choojai to set up a new agency, Mana. The agency that he wishes to spend his last years of his working life doing good. Towards his retirement, he wishes to earn his living, at the same time, doing something good creatively.
