George P. Johnson Singapore bolsters their senior leadership with new key appointments

Ben Chong joins as Executive Creative Director, Chong (pictured left) has over 20 years’ experience in the communications industry establishing his credentials in Australia, the UK, China and Singapore. Passionate about brand building with emerging market brands he has held senior roles with Interbrand, Landor, and most recently Anthem Worldwide as Regional Strategy Director.

Desiree Wu Melanie Ricketts.jpgDesiree Wu (pictured left), a client engagement professional with 24 years’ APAC experience across Business and Client Operations, Brand Marketing, Public Relations and Organisational Development joins GPJ as Group Account Director. Consumer centric focused she has held roles with Qantas, Cisco, American Express, Thread, POSSIBLE and VML.

Melanie Ricketts (pictured right), an experiential specialist with 13+ years’ experience, joins as Head of Operations for GPJ Singapore. With proven success delivering experiential marketing, conferences and events across the region, Melanie is passionate about developing, driving and implementing strategic and creative solutions for our clients. Melanie has worked across organisations including Jack Morton Worldwide, Telstra, Optus and cievents.

Andrew Churchill (pictured right) joins as Account Director for GPJ, with 10 years’ experience across live events, brand activations and entertainment through 4 continents including Jack Morton Worldwide, Uniplan, The Arcade Creative and SEALS. As a performer and producer himself, he understands how to conceptualise, build and execute ‘show moments’ from the intimate to extravagant.

Andrew Larvin (pictured left) joins as Creative Director with over 8 years in the experiential field. He has worked across the APAC region for global clients including Rolls-Royce, P&G, Mastercard, HSBC and Nike – most recently working on the Nike Unlimited Stadium, a cross-agency project that brought home 15 coveted Cannes Lions.
