ECD Ronnie Wu promoted into the position of chief creative officer for TBWA\China

Ronnie Wu sml.jpgRonnie Wu, executive creative director, TBWA\Shanghai has been promoted to the role of chief creative officer, TBWA\China with immediate effect.

Wu (pictured) joined TBWA\Shanghai at the end of 2015 as executive creative director, and during this time, has been instrumental in strengthening the creative department’s digital capabilities resulting in a strong integrated creative team, which consists of a mix of the best local and international talent working in China today.

The depth of experience and diverse knowledge existing across the team has been recognized and rewarded when TBWA\Shanghai was named One Show China’s Agency of the Year in 2017, and ADC China Agency of the Year in 2018.

His adept understanding of the market and consumer, led him to deepen the creative departments innovative digital capabilities and foster a co-creative, agile creative culture across the entire agency. Wu is one of the youngest Chinese chief creative officers, yet is also one of the most awarded with recognitions from Cannes, D&AD, LIA, New York Festivals, Clios, ADC, Spikes Asia and AdFest. And this year Ronnie’s creative achievements were rewarded when he was invited to join the prestigious D&AD awards jury in London.
