MPC wins Best Crafted Commercial award, three Golds and three Silvers at The British Arrows

Ostrich_1.jpgOstrich_2.jpgBritish Arrows has been championing, awarding and celebrating the innovation, bravery and artistry of moving image advertising for over 40 years. Last week marked the second of the annual combined Craft and Awards show: ‘The British Arrows’.

Following MPC’s 15 nominations across Animation, CGI, Colour, VFX, International and Non-Alcoholic Drinks, the ceremony saw MPC awarded the Best Crafted Commercial award, along with three Golds and three Silvers.

Samsung ‘Ostrich’ – directed by MJZ Los Angeles’ Matthijs Van Heijningen with Leo Burnett Chicago – stole the show, winning the prestigious Best Crafted Commercial award. MPC also took home Gold for CGI, Gold for Animation and Silver for VFX for their work on ‘Ostrich’.

MPC’s craft on Volkswagen’s ‘Born Confident’ – featuring the collaboration of Bruce St Clair at Indiana Production and Independent Ideas – also won two Silvers for both Animation and CGI.

To wrap up an outstanding performance, MPC’s Global Creative Director of Colour, Jean-Clément Soret, collected Gold for the Lacoste ‘Timeless’ spot.
