Scarecrow M&C Saatchi creates #BeatMySpeed campaign to launch Skechers GoRun 6 in India

Sketchers.jpgSkechers Performanc has unveiled its video campaign ‘Beat My Speed’ as a part of their integrated marketing campaign for ‘Go Run 6’ in India. Set to debut this month, Skechers GoRun 6 is specifically designed for running.

The film features four upcoming athletes including Indian Wrestler Ritu Phogat, India U-19 World Cup Cricketer Shubman Gill, Former Captain of Indian Women’s National Basketball team Akanksha Singh and India U-17 Footballer Sumit Rathi. The film was conceptualized and created by Scarecrow M&C Saatchi, to show how important running is, as an effective training tool, in every sport.

In this campaign we had the pleasure of working with 4 promising Indian athletes from different sports, i.e. Cricket, Football, Basketball and Wrestling challenging each other to beat their speed in Skechers GoRun 6, and also emphasizing on the importance of running while training off the field.”

 

Joybrato Dutta, Creative Director, Scarecrow M&C Saatchi, added, “It was a delight to work with these athletes. They are the future of Indian sport. And their commitment towards this project was incredible. This film is very special to us. It’s not like you get to do a sports film every day. The objective was to create a film that inspires people to run and showcase that these shoes are the best weapon to run. Special focus has been given to the music as we wanted to create a song that people download and listen to, while they are running.”
