Adobo-Tambuli Conference 2018 speakers to focus on data, brands and humanity #BeHuman

Adobo-Tambuli Conference.jpgThe 2018 Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards in partnership with Adobo Magazine is holding its annual Adobo-Tambuli Conference on June 5, 2018, at the Marquis Events Place, Bonifacio Global City, Manila.

With the theme focusing on Data, Brands, Humanity #BeHuman, the conference seeks to explore answers on how we can humanize data. Speakers will examine how data and tech elevate the human experience, inspire brands to strengthen human relationships, one’s life satisfaction, and sense of well-being.

The conference keynote speaker is this year’s Tambuli Overall Jury Chairman Malcolm Ponyton, Global Chief Creative Officer, Cheil Worldwide. Cheuk Chiang, CEO Asia Pacific for Omnicom Media Group will speak on “The Closing Gap between Technology and Us”. Yasuharu Sasaki, Executive Creative Director and Head of Digital Creative Center, Dentsu, Japan shall look into the topic of “Making Digital Creativity Ubiquitous.” Rupen Desai, Vice Chairman APAC of Edelman will share his thoughts on the interconnection among “Data, Purpose, and Human Connection.”

Country Head for Google Philippines, Ken Lingan, will moderate a panel of agency leaders who will exchange views on the conference theme and its implications to industry practice. Joining the panel are Chris Foster, Asia President, Y&R; Merlee Jayme, Chairmom & Chief Creative Officer, Dentsu Jayme Syfu; Rupen Desai, Vice Chairman APAC, Edelman; and Pat Baron, McCann Worldgroup CLC Chair Asia Pacific, Chief Creative Officer, Australia.

Finally, a special panel session on the topic, “Is the Advertising industry in Crisis?” moderated by Angel Guerrero, Founder & Publisher of Adobo Magazine, will also be held. Participating in the panel are Cheuk Chiang, CEO Asia Pacific for Omnicom Media Group; Margot Torres, Executive Vice President & Deputy Managing Director, McDonald’s Philippines, Lester Estrada, Country Marketing Director, Procter & Gamble Philippines, and Paolo Mercado, Senior Vice President, Communication & Innovation, Nestle Philippines.
