McCann Health’s Dr Harshit Jain named on 2017’s Most Influential Global Marketing Leaders list

Harshit Jain.jpgDr Harshit Jain, McCann Health’s Marketing Director, Asia Pacific and Senior Vice President & Country Manager, India, has been named on the 2017 list of “Most Influential Global Marketing Leaders of the Year” published by the World Marketing Congress.

The awards honour members of the marketing community who have delivered extraordinary work and demonstrated exceptional strategic prowess, as well as a commitment toward the advancement of the industry.

Dr Jain joined McCann Health in 2013 as VP, leading the Consumer business unit in India. He was appointed SVP and Country Manager for India in 2015 and has recently added marketing responsibilities for the Asia Pacific region to his role.

Under his leadership, McCann Health India has trebled its client acquisition and increased its revenue significantly. The agency has also won more than 50 awards including Cannes, Clios, D&AD, Spikes and London International Awards.

This year, Dr Jain, partnered with the Ministry of Public Health Afghanistan, to launch Immunity Charm that helps doctors improve vaccine compliance and save children from life-threatening illness. This innovative campaign was awarded 13 Cannes Lions, including ‘Grand Prix for Good’, helping to raise the profile of the healthcare industry and the impact it has on the lives of everyday people.

He was also featured in Campaign Asia’s 2017 40 under 40 class of APAC Marketing & Communication leaders.
