Bonsey Jaden Singapore launches six part series for Fiji Tourism + Fiji Airways, shot by Powertank

Fiji_01.jpgPowertank (the Content arm of Malaysian headquartered production company Directors Think Tank) and director Kelvin Theseira have recently shot the first of a six-part web series for Fiji Tourism and Fiji Airways via Bonsey Jaden Singapore.

The Great Fiji Challenge is a digital campaign from Tourism Fiji and Fiji Airways aimed at the Singaporean market. Bonsey Jaden and Directors Think Tank continued their strong partnership to bring it to life.

Part reality TV, part travelogue, the campaign centres around the exploits of three Singaporean influencers in Fiji, vying for direct flights to the island destination for their fans. But more than just a cultural crash course, the explorers had to do battle over sky, sea and sand as they peeled back layer after layer of surprising Fiji adventures.

In a week, the campaign notched up more than 50K views across the 6 episodes.

“Pulling this campaign off was no easy task. It demanded the on-your-feet thinking of a reality TV production as well as the beautiful aesthetics of a tourism ad. I think Kelvin and Powertank managed to balance the two with much aplomb,” says Adam Chan, Regional ECD at Bonsey Jaden.

Powertank director Kelvin Theseira says:”We had a limited crew, time and money but the brief was huge. After the first day i was wondering what i got myself into and was counting the days till we finished the shoot. When that day finally came and we called wrap. i just wanted to do it all over again”.
