Dewi Yantiyusup (L) and Era Rahman (R).jpgDirectors Think Tank have signed Indonesian and Jakarta based filmmaker Dewi Yantiyusup for global representation.

Yantiyusup (pictured left) said, “I had reached a place in my career where my work needed a particular platform and I felt that DTT understood where I came from and where I want to go. I also felt that DTT’s reputation for collaboration and smart production was something that I very much wanted to be part of. These are also interesting times in the industry right now and we can no longer rest on doing the 15, 30, 45 sec ads alone. As filmmakers and storytellers we must be more diverse, interactive and visually arresting across many multi-media platforms.  Add to this the fact that these Guys throw some of the ‘coolest’ parties around,  I just thought it was a ‘no-brainer”.

Nana Arshad.jpgIn addition to the appointment of Yantiyusup, DTT have also added Jakarta based senior producer Era Rahman (pictured above right) to the production team. Rahman is a well-known and much respected face around the Indonesian industry and her wealth of experience and contacts will only enhance the DTT brand in the region. In addition to Rahman, Nana Arshad (pictured left) has joined the Singapore office as producer working alongside EP Pat Singh. Arshad, has worked across both the agency and production company side of the industry and is known for her resourcefulness, commitment and creating smart solutions.

“Dewi has a strong agency background where she exceled as a senior art director working for such agencies as Leo Burnet and Lowe.  One of her many qualities is that she has a strong vision and feel for natural humour that translates to her work very well. Dewi’s,  Era and Nana’s signing are our small steps towards DTT’s ongoing commitment to finding and growing talent throughout the region”, said DTT General Manager Stephen Douglas.
