Delicia Tan and Jamie Read promoted into managing director roles at Edelman Singapore

Delicia Tan + Jamie Read.jpgEdelman has promoted Delicia Tan and Jamie Read to newly created Managing Director positions in Singapore in a move to deepen its sector expertise and strengthen its client leadership bench. Tan has been named Managing Director, Client Growth and Innovation, and is charged with strengthening and diversifying Edelman Singapore’s major client relationships across the agency.

A 17-year corporate and crisis communications veteran, Tan has spent the past decade with Edelman in Beijing and Singapore. In her most recent role as Senior Director, Tan served as the senior strategist across the agency’s largest regional and global clients including Singapore Tourism Board, Singapore Prison Services and Shell. As Managing Director, Client Growth and Innovation, Tan will build on these client successes and partner with the agency’s leadership in Reputation, Integrated Brand and Sectors to identify Edelman’s next-generation solutions for clients.

 

Read has been appointed Managing Director, Sectors, where he is tasked with expanding the agency’s expertise in key sectors, including Technology and Health, while overseeing the business largest health client relationships.

 

With more than 13 years of pharmaceutical, wellness, nutrition and health-tech communications experience globally, Read has led Edelman’s Southeast Asia Health sector business and developed strategic communications campaigns and digital health solutions for clients across Asia Pacific. Adding the Technology sector to his remit, he is charged with deepening the agency’s technology and digital disruption insights and developing solutions for new breed and start-up clients.
