Four Asian entries shortlisted in the Glass Lions

Vicks.jpgFour Asian entries have made the cut at the shortlist stage of the Glass Lions category at this year’s Cannes Festival of Creativity.

India has two of these Asian finalists, with Singapore and Japan also making the shortlist.

Law & Kenneth Saatchi & Saatchi Mumbai; Company of Design New Delhi; Dentsu Y&R Tokyo and Publicis Singapore are all shortlisted. Publicis Singapore’s shortlist is for Vicks Vaporub “Touch of Care”.

The Glass category are the Lions for Change  and celebrate culture-shifting creativity. Entries need to demonstrate ideas intended to change the world; that is work which sets out to positively impact ingrained gender inequality, imbalance or injustice. The Glass Lion recognises work that implicitly or explicitly addresses issues of gender inequality or prejudice, through the conscious representation of gender in advertising.
