Cheil India’s Samsung ‘We care for the girl child’ CSR initiative passes 80 million YouTube views

SamsungIndia1.jpgCheil India’s recent Samsung CSR initiative has passed the 80 million views mark on YouTube.

The film follows on from the ‘#SamsungCares’ 2016 CSR campaign with this one focusing on the education of young females in India. Titled ‘We care for the girl child’ the initiative provides specialised classroom and on-the-job training at Samsung’s Technical Schools and Service Centres. The new ad is a part of the ‘#SapneHueBade’ campaign.

As a company Samsung cares for the dreams of girls in India. Seema Nagar who hails from a small village in Rajasthan courageously defied gender stereotypes and pursued training at Samsung Technical School in ITI, Jaipur. As a result, her dreams became bigger and she became an inspiration to many.

SamsungIndia2.jpgThere are 20 Samsung Technical Schools across India. 10 of them are a joint collaboration between Samsung India and the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME). 10 other schools are in ITIs in partnership with the State Governments of Delhi, Bihar, Kerala, Rajasthan and Bengal.

The ad was released on May 29th this year and currently has just over 80 million YouTube views.
