Song Zu Singapore takes out Silver + Bronze Pencils at AWARD Awards for Tiger Beer work

Song Zu Singapore has picked up two pencils at the annual AWARD Awards, held in Sydney on Friday night.

Lindsay Jehan’s Mandarin version of “What a Wonderful World” for Tiger Beer Melting Pot, with vocals and Erhu by local Singapore star Tay Kewei, won a Silver for Best Use and/or Arrangement of Existing Music.

Also for Tiger Beer, Lindsay and Damian Waddell’s sound design for “Wok” won a Bronze pencil.

Says Song Zu Managing Director, Ian Lew: “It has been a real privilege to work on both of these wonderful spots for Singapore’s iconic Tiger Beer. Both were close collaborations with the Marcel and The Sweet Shop teams and we are very pleased that they continue to be recognised by the various award juries, as music and sound plays such an important role in both these stories”.

The Tiger Beer “Wok” sound design has previously taken out Silver at both AdFest and Singapore’s CCAs.
