J. Walter Thompson Hong Kong hires Jocelyn Tse in the role of head of strategic planning

Jocelyn Tse.jpgJ. Walter Thompson Hong Kong has appointed Jocelyn Tse as Head of Strategic Planning. She brings deep experience in planning across sectors, from consumer electronics, automobiles, luxury and entertainment, to financial services and alcoholic and carbonated beverages.

Tse (pictured) most recently served as general manager of FCB Hong Kong, and had reopened the office. She hired staff, built a client portfolio that included Prudential Corp. Asia and Levi’s, and was responsible for the office’s bottom line.

Previously, she was Planning Director at Ogilvy & Mather Group, Hong Kong; Associate Planning Director for TBWA Shanghai, where she was lead planner for McDonald’s China; Strategic Planner at Leo Burnett Hong Kong and Strategic Planner at DDB Worldwide Hong Kong.

Tse has a Bachelor’s degree from McGill University in Montreal, majoring in Economics and East Asian Studies.

“She’s a great asset to the HK management team and has hit the deck running,” said Mark Webster, Chairman of J. Walter Thompson Hong Kong.
