Globe Philippines' Star Wars spot picked as Best TV in Bestads Six of the Best review by Dave Damman, co-president/CCO, Grupo Gallegos

GG CCO DAVE HighRes.jpgEach week Bestads picks the very best advertising in the world, in every medium - which is reviewed by a top creative director or team to select their own personal favourites.

This week's guest judge is Dave Damman, co-president and chief creative officer of Grupo Gallegos in Huntington Beach, California. This week Dave chooses a spot from The Philippines as his favourite TV ad of the week.

Winner: Globe Philippines: #CreateCourage - Rogue One - A Star Wars Story. Well, for starters -I'm a huge Star Wars fan. So I guess that this one had me from the the first frame. But what I didn't expect was the ending. I totally knew that Luke was going to show up at the end of the Star Wars reboot - but in no way did I see the reason the girl was wearing the stormtrooper mask. Nice. And for it to ladder up to courage, that's a helluva payoff. Perfect for "Rogue One."
