Yuki Qi.jpgSaatchi & Saatchi has appointed Yuki Qi, the agency’s current Greater China Chief Talent Officer, to Vice President of Operations for Greater China, effective immediately.

On top of her current talent duty, Qi will continue to report to Publicis Communications & Saatchi & Saatchi Greater China CEO Michael Lee, supporting Lee to manage the overall operations of all Saatchi & Saatchi Greater China offices. As part of this expanded role, Qi will lead operational innovations and strategic development of the agency, as well as the integration and sharing of internal and external resources.

With a master’s degree in financial management in the UK, Qi has worked in financial and consulting fields before joining Saatchi & Saatchi Shanghai in 2003. She was named Greater China Chief Talent Officer in 2013 and is further distinguished as one of the few Chinese executives on the Greater China Management Team and as a former member of the six-person Saatchi Global Talent Team.

Lee gave a glowing review of Qi’s many contributions to date. “At this time in our industry ‒ when securing the best talent is of paramount importance ‒ I am extremely lucky to have Yuki on the team,” he said. “Additionally, she has a rare gift for agency management. Her sharp market insights are the product of an incredible amount of industry knowledge, and her abilities stretch beyond the usual scope of talent management. Yuki has already made substantial contributions to the agency growth, strategic decision-making and talent development. I am fully confident that Yuki will continue to realize her incredible potential in the new position and help the agency reach new height.”
