Nanfu Battery and & Creative Lab launch their Olympic campaign with the Chinese fencing team

Nanfu.jpgAt the opening ceremony of the Olympic games, Lei Sheng, who won the men’s foil individual championship in the 2012 London Olympics, was the flag-bearer for China. Sheng is a true swordsman, a national hero. At the age of 5, Sheng started fencing. He became the best ‘swordsman’ when he’s 23. And this year, he was the flag-bearer for China and joined the Olympics on behalf of the country. Everyone has a dream when they are young. As time goes by, the dream fades. But some people choose to stick with their dreams. They never stop chasing.

Nanfu Battery Poster 01.jpgFor the Olympics Nanfu Battery partnered with Sheng along with the Chinese national fencing team. It invited several 4A agencies and Chinese local agencies to pitch for the campaign, including Jody Xiong, a senior creator and his team at & Creative Lab to create a 60-second television commercial and a series of posters.

Xiong and his team show the growing process of the swordsman and reveal the brand spirit of Nanfu Battery in this commercial with story-telling narration and precise production. At the end of the TVC, the narrator says, ’27 years. One sword. Believe in the power of endurance.’ The TVC spot has been broadcasted on TV stations all over China including China Central Television.
