DDB_FBB_2016.jpgDDB China Group is inviting applicants for the 2016 stream of its annual Future Bernbachs internship programme until end June. The highly successful initiative aims to groom talented young people to make a positive impact on the communications industry.

“The programme was named after DDB’s legendary founder, Bill Bernbach.who ignited the creative revolution and changed the world of communications and business forever,” says Richard Tan, President and CEO at DDB China Group. “We are looking for bright, idea-centric people who have the courage, passion and lateral thinking skills to be different.”

In China, the Future Bernbachs programme was launched at DDB Shanghai in 2013, and has since been extended to DDB offices in Beijing and Guangzhou. The goal is to help future graduates bridge the gap between theory and the real world by taking part in live projects, engaging with clients and working side-by-side with mentors from within the agency. In 2014, three of the previous year’s Future Bernbachs won the inaugural New York Festival Torch Awards, recognising young creatives from around the world.

“I look forward to identifying the individuals who are a good cultural fit for DDB. We hope this year’s interns will surprise us with their talent, enthusiasm and fresh ideas!” added Tan.
