High School Girl.jpgThe Cannes Film Craft category, awarded tonight in Cannes, has seen 77 lions handed out. Asia has a good night winning 1 Gold Lion and 6 Bronze Lions.

A worthy Gold went to Watts of Tokyo for Shiseido Co. “High School Girls?” in the Achievement in Production category.

TBWA Singapore, Six Toes Singapore + Photoplay Films for Airbnb “A Different Paris”.

Fred & Farid Shanghai for MemoriesLab “Treasure Today”

Ogilvy & Mather Shanghai + RSA Films for Huawei “Shark Dancer”.

Tokyu Agency Tokyo + AOI Pro Tokyo for Van Houten Cocoa “House Maid”

From 2,317 entries received in Film Craft, 71 Lions were presented. The Grand Prix award went to Droga5 New York + Epoch Films for Under Armour “Phelps”. The winner delivered content that elevated the written script and transcended the craft so it became invisible. “The jury was completely immersed in the experience,” said Jury President, Laura Gregory, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Great Guns.
