BBDO Guerrero Philippines launches a touching Johnson's Baby Mother's Day video tribute

Johnsons.jpgBBDO Guerrero launched the Johnson's Baby's Mother's Day tribute with a video that got moms all over the world teary-eyed last Mother's Day. The film generated over 2.3 million views and more than 20,000 shares since its release.

The film entitled "#SapatAngHaplos Mo, Mommy" reassured moms that no matter what their circumstance may be or shortcomings they think they have, their touch is enough for their baby. The story revolves around the life of a first-time, deaf mom who copes with her disability by expressing her love for her baby through her touch.

Johnsons 2.jpgBBDO Guerrero wanted to capture in the most genuine and real way how a deaf-mute mom cares for her baby - from everyday rituals such as bathing, to moments when she would comfort her crying child with her signature touch. This lent the film a genuine and authentic storytelling approach, which resonated with the Filipinos strongly.

In the end, moms understood that if the only language they can speak is the language of touch, Johnson's Baby gives them the voice to express their love to their child, even without words.

Johnsons 3.jpgThe creative team behind the concept were Dale Lopez, George Angasanto, Liz Castaneda and Stephan Domingo. Produced under Straight Shooters and directed by Chris Martinez.

Richa Goswami, Johnson's Head of Digital for Asia-Pacific said, "I want to congratulate the team on the most amazing Mothers Day video  #SapatAngHaplos Mo, Mommy. I saw it today on FB and I cried. It was so authentic, and I want to call out to the team's courage, passion and conviction to go to the market with such a fabulous video. I saw that in the 20 hours of going live, it was close to 500,000 likes, and that's a testament to our consumers connecting with it."

David Guerrero, Creative Chairman of BBDO Guerrero said, "'We are proud to be working together with Johnson's in creating something that resonates so strongly with our audience. This piece of work celebrates Mother's Day through the real-life experience of a team member's relative. And reminds us that whatever the circumstance, a mother's touch is more than enough."
