Around 30 teams take part in New Stars every year, which is a competition designed to help young creative professionals from around the world master the art of advertising. Each team will first listen to seminars from a team of advertising experts before receiving a real client "brief" to complete within 30 hours.

"New Stars is a valuable experience for young creative professionals who are looking to give their career a head start by learning from the industry's top ECDs," says Eui Ja Lee, Co-chairperson of the AD STARS Executive Committee.

"We host side events including a networking party so that participants can take some time to build global friendships with those from all over the world. Every New Stars team will also have the opportunity to network with renowned creatives from around the world."

This year's New Stars AD competition will take place from 24th to 27th August as part of the 9th annual Ad Stars festival, which is Asia's fastest growing advertising award show.

To enter, simply submit your entry as part of a team of two (but note: your team member doesn't need to work at the same company as you).

It costs US$800 per person to enter New Stars, however accommodation and meals (except lunch) will be covered by Ad Stars.

To become a New Star of 2016, simply submit your application before 31th May 2016 (1st deadline).
