Singapore leads Asia at the finalist round of the 2016 Webby Awards with 8 nominations

Nominees for the Webby Awards 2016, which celebrates Internet achievement, have been announced with Asia scoring an impressive 20 nominations.

Singapore leads with 8 nominations led by Ogilvy & Mather with 4, two for TWC2’s “Mums and Maids”, and two for Singtel’s “Movie Emoji”. Grey Group Singapore follow with 3 nominations all for the British Council’s “Visual Dictionary”.

Pizza Hut.jpgHong Kong follows with four nominations two from Ogilvy & Mather for “Blockbuster Box” for Pizza Hut and two for Cheil Hong Kong’s “Missing Child” Lock Screens for Save The Children.

China and Japan also score four nominations each (two of Japan’s are from Watts of Tokyo for  Shiseido’s “High School Girl?”.
