McCann & Spencer wins Grand Kam Fan at 2015 HK4As Kam Fan Awards for Hang Lung Property Limited’s “Fashion Intelligence Index”

The 2015 Kam Fan Presentation Gala was held on Friday night at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Grand Kam Fan winner for Best of Show was awarded to “Fashion Intelligence Index” for Hang Lung Properties Limited Fashion Walk by McCann & Spencer. It was a big night for McCann & Spencer with the campaign also winning the Promo & Activation Kam Fan as well as the Integrated Kam Fan.

Apart from the three Kam Fan awards only one other Gold award was handed out on the night. It went to Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong for Pizza Hut “Blockbuster Box” in the Design – Promotional Items category.

The HK4As (Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of Hong Kong) has been organizing Kam Fan Awards annually since 1984, to recognize and honor the best works in the market, and is hailed as the “Grand Prix” accolade of the industry.

Kam Fan 2.jpgKam Fan 1.jpg“Our judges’ panel was impressed by the execution of the ‘Fashion Intelligence Index’ campaign, which not only utilized various advertising channels and tools, but the overall cohesiveness of the campaign activities also shows the brilliance of the creative team. This year we may not have given out many awards, but we found that the campaigns who received awards were definitely the best of the best, and reflect the efforts and passion of the creative minds in Hong Kong,” said Norman Tan, Jury Chairman of the Awards.

Overall, Kam Fan Awards presented Grand Kam Fan, 1 Integrated Kam Fan, 1 Promo & Activation Kam Fan, 4 Gold, 12 Silver and 29 Bronze medals.

The winners of the Young Creative competition were also recognised on the night, with Ho Kwan Sheung and Chow Yin Tung Victoria from Havas Hong Kong coming out on top (see photo at bottom).

This year the Awards continued to impress its renowned panel of international judges and industry members. The presentation gala and star-studded event, which gathered ad elites, ad veterans, business leaders, corporate clients and celebrities celebrated the success and contribution of the industry’s most creative minds and campaigns. Members of the 2015 Kam Fan Creative and Digital, and Media jury panels graced the occasion, along with Miss Hong Kong 2015 and many other artistes from TVB and Cable TV.

The HK4As continues to receive the sponsorship from Create Hong Kong of the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau to sponsor the Kam Fan winners to attend the International Cannes Advertising Festival in France, AdFest in Thailand and Spikes Asia in Singapore.
