BlisMedia opens office in Hong Kong headed up by managing director Richard Andrew

Richard Andrew.jpgLocation data and advertising technology company BlisMedia, has opened operations in Hong Kong as part of the company’s rapid international expansion plans. BlisMedia’s move into the Chinese territory follows its office openings throughout APAC earlier this year, and key executive hires across the globe.

The Hong Kong office will be managed by MD Richard Andrew (pictured left) who will oversee Blis’ Greater China operations. With over 14 year’s industry experience across multiple geographies and having previously held senior positions at companies like Amobee, Microsoft and  Yahoo!, Andrew is an accomplished digital marketer and brings across a wealth of knowledge in sales, ideation, strategy and planning through to execution.

Based in Hong Kong’s Wanchai district, Andrew will spearhead regional business development by introducing Blis’ industry-leading location data advertising technology and products to Hong Kong-based media agencies servicing brands in the region. Andrew will report to Harry Dewhirst, President of BlisMedia, who oversees the company’s global expansion strategy.

Prior to his appointment at BlisMedia, Andrew was the General Manger for Asia at Amobee, a

global digital marketing technology company. He was responsible for Amobee’s expansion

strategy across the region providing sales expertise, operational leadership, and expansive

knowledge around mobile and digital campaigns.
