CB Cannes Interview: two years after opening Singapore office Grand Prix winning global digital powerhouse MediaMonks set to open in Shanghai

Mediamonks-Victor-Knapp.jpgCB caught up with Victor Knaap, the CEO of global digital production powerhouse MediaMonks, which is about to open a Shanghai office, just over two years since opening in Singapore.

 

Recent projects from the region include the interactive experience they created with Johnnie Walker Singapore for their Blue Label mentoring: Symphony in Blue. Other creatively awarded global projects include Sweetie (which won the Cannes Grand Prix for Good last year), Google Nightwalk, Jack Daniel’s The Few and Far Between and BIC Universal Typeface.

MediaMonks now has six global offices, including LA, New York, London, Amsterdam, Dubai and Singapore, and soon Shanghai, and looks back at a highly successful year, with over 200 awards won by the company to date including six Grand Prix and 23 Cannes Lions trophies. In December 2014, MediaMonks was named the Best Digital Company in the US & Europe at Ciclope Festival and was the only digital company to rank amongst the Top Production Companies in Ad Age’s annual Awards Report 2014.

MediaMonks is also soon launching its first Australian project.
