Lowe China’s “Human Traffic Signs” + BBDO and Proximity Singapore’s “Guinness Draft in a Bottle” share the Golds at Print Poster and Billboard judging at London International Awards

Human Traffic Sign_speed.jpgThe Print Poster and Billboard jury at the London International Awards has handed out 3 golds to Asia following the announcement of the results today. Asia’s haul in this category also included 6 Silver trophies and 1 Bronze trophy.

It was a familiar story to other awards shows with Lowe China’s Buick “Human Traffic Signs” campaign, along with BBDO and Proximity Singapore’s Guinness “Draft in a Bottle” leading the way.

Lowe’s Buick public service print campaign ended up with 2 Golds and 2 Silvers and BBDO’s Guinness campaign scored 1 Gold, two Silvers and a Bronze. Guinness also had 6 finalists across the categories.

Red Fuse Communications (Y&R) Hong Kong also picked up a Silver for their Colgate Dental Creme educational posters printed inside Colgate packing boxes campaign.

McCann Worldgroup Mumbai picked up two Bronze trophies for their Big Babol “Mango; Tangerine; Pear” poster campaign.

The Grand Prix LIA Award in the category went to OgilvyOne London for the “Magic of Flying” billboard for British Airways – which also won two additional Gold Trophies.

In total across the Print Poster and Billboard categories 17 Gold trophies were awarded along with 22 Silver trophies.

Jury head for the Print Poster and Billboard jury was Dörte Spengler-Ahrens, Executive Creative Director at Jung von Matt/Elbe Hamburg. Representing Asia on the panel were David Guerrero (BBDO Guerrero, Philippines), Gigi Lee (Y&R Malaysia), and Santosh Padhi (Taproot India, Mumbai).
