MEC APAC wins Dorsett Hospitality International global digital performance marketing business

MEC.gifMEC Asia Pacific has been awarded the Dorsett Hospitality International business. Dorsett Hospitality International is an Asian-based international hotel chain and currently operates 21 hotels, with 10 new hotels in the pipeline in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and the United Kingdom.

 

MEC will handle digital performance marketing activities including SEM. The business was awarded after a competitive pitch with three other undisclosed agencies.

Commenting on the appointment, Melpo Wong, Director of Digital Distribution at Dorsett Hospitality International, said, “MEC showed great understanding of our brand, the nuances of hotel marketing catering to a Hong Kong and China audience; their culture and languages. We were very impressed by the recommendations they made, “speaking the language” from both the hotel and the guests’ point of view. We are confident that with MEC and Antony on board we’ll be able to build a great Search and Performance program for our hotel group.”
