Silver Film Craft Lion to Nike ‘Make Every Yard Count’, via JWT Bangalore + 1st December Films

Nike_1.jpgMake.jpgJWT India Bangalore’ Nike spot ‘Make Every Yard Count’ has been awarded a Silver Lion in the Cannes Film Craft category.  It was the only successful shortlist from Asia to grab a Lion.

The commercial missed out in it’s shortlisted category of Sound Design but achieved Silver status in Editing. The production company was 1st December Films Bangalore and the editor was Priyank Premkumar from Independent.

Asia had 4 shortlists in Film Craft – JWT India Bangalore (x2), Iris Worldwide Singapore and Ogilvy & Mather Japan all made the list.

20 Gold Lions was awarded in Film Craft. Clemenger BBDO Wellington’s “Blazed” for NZTA Drug Driving won 2 Gold Lions and 1 Silver (Curious Film Auckland is the production company). Lurpak “Cook’s Range” and Sony’s brilliant “Bob Dylan Like a Rolling Stone” also won 2 Gold Lions. Volvo Trucks “Epic Split”, Honda “Illusions”, P&G “Pick Them Back Up” and HBO GO’s campaign amongst others also won Gold.
