Its_Sunny_Philippines.jpgGeometry Global Hong Kong and Cebu Pacific Air, the Philippines largest airline, are reminding the Hong Kong public that summers are always unpredictable and their recent bout of sunshine could be short lived.

With heavy rains forecast in the coming days, the highly successful Geometry Global ‘Rain Codes’ campaign, will once again be appearing on the streets of Hong Kong continuing to drive bookings to a much sunnier Philippines with exclusive offers from the budget airline.

Hong Kong receives just 100 hours of sunshine per month during its summer monsoon season and Geometry has taken full advantage of the wet weather to create ads that are only visible in the rain.

Water repellent spray will be used to draw ads onto the ground in high traffic areas in Tsim Sha Tsui and Mongkok. The tagline, “It’s Sunny in the Philippines” prompts passersby to scan the integrated QR code to receive a Cebu Pacific Air discount code.

“We are happy to partner with Geometry Global, and bring Hong Kong locals to the sunny Philippines! This campaign aptly reflects Cebu Pacific Air’s fun airline culture, and the fun destinations we fly to. We hope everyone can take advantage of our extensive Philippine network to get to some of the best beach, diving and surfing destinations in the world,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyo.
