Carat APAC hires Marie Gruy as regional director

ML 2 Colour.jpgCarat Asia Pacific has appointed Marie Gruy as Regional Director for Carat Asia Pacific based out of Singapore. The move will see Gruy work closely with Clay Schouest, Carat’s Head of Strategy and Innovation for the region, to build strategic leadership and insight led thinking into a superior offering to add value to clients businesses.

“Marie brings to us the rare talent of cross disciplinary thinking. Her focus will be to drive sharp edged insights that enable better strategic planning. She is a great addition to the team and will help reach our goal to redefine media and drive success for our brands in the region,” said Sean O’Brien, CEO of Carat Asia Pacific.

Gruy (pictured left) has been in the media industry for over 15 years, most recently as Managing Partner at PHD Singapore where she helped to grow the challenger brand to a top 10 award winning agency, following several key new business wins. Before taking on the role as Managing Partner she led the HP regional account as Business Director. Prior to joining PHD in Singapore she held regional roles out of London at BBC Worldwide managing Insight and Strategy for their Commercialisation division, Initiative Media in the same titled role looking after J&J and spent the first eight years of her career at insight agencies Research Business and latterly at HPI Research where she rose up the ranks to Partner.
