WATERisLIFE from DDB New York tops ACT Responsible’s annual list of the world’s most successful advertising for good causes: O&M Thailand, DM9 JaymeSyfu, BBDO Guerrero + DDB Singapore make the Top 30 for 2013
ACT Responsible (with the cooperation of The Gunn Report) has launched The Good Report, an annual celebration of innovative and valuable advertising campaigns for Good Causes.
The highest ranking campaign is #FirstWorldProblems for WATERisLIFE by DDB New York. From Asia Ogilvy & Mather Thailand’s “Smoking Kid” for Thai Health Promotion Foundation is ranked highest at #5. Gabriela’s “Bury the Past Project” by DM9 JaymeSyfu, Philippines is ranked at #11; “Fan Corals” for WWF International by BBDO Guerrero Philippines in ranked #21; and DDB Singapore’s “My Third Eye” for Starhub Singapore Society of Visually Handicapped comes in at #21.
Ogilvy & Mather Thailand, at #11 was the only agency to make the Top 20 Agencies for Good in 2013.
Every year, creative people around the world lend their talents to the task of addressing social and environmental issues: some help NGOs devise communications strategies; others use their skills to develop creative solutions for building a better world.

We will then take into account each campaign’s number of points in The Gunn Report to compile a list of the best of the best. The Good Report honors the Top 30 Campaigns for Good, the Top 20 Agencies, the Top 10 Networks and the Top 5 advertisers. There are no complicated categories: all we are looking for is great work for Good.” said Gunn.
